Another one I've had sitting on the computer for a while, obviously from the same shoot. The sybolism is probably more apparent in this one. Long story short this is one of the few pictures that honestly means something to me. But again, I'm not sure I really like it..that and I'm a little uncomfortable with exposing myself that much [I'm a very self concious person, even that much, I'm like ><; xD;]. I might end up taking this one down.

I really like how the color in your hair is reflected in the background.
I also really like the message you are conveying, but in my person opinion I think this piece would be stronger with a soft light and a longer exposure.
But that's just my personal opinion.

Mmn, I completely agree. Only thing is I have very limited access to different sorts of lighting and such. So I did what I could with what I had. I think if I do reshoot it [now that I've got more to work with], I'll definately do the longer exposure and diffused light. :]

& If I were you, I would get a few cheap lamps, and some differently wattaged light bulbs, and interchange them as need-be. I have a lamp that I just love the lighting it gives off, though it's nothing but a desk lamp with a low wattage.
You have to start somewhere, you know?

I plan on redoing it someday, though maybe not so much in the near future. xD Though I have since gotten that light diffuser, and that gets the perfect effect I'm looking for..maybe when I'm more confident. This was such a big idea for me that I feel like I wasn't able to [maybe I didn't have the ability to] portray it the way I really wanted. Its not as strong as I wanted it to be, and I don't think it's because I didn't have the equipment. I don't know..one day.
